With so many windows 10 updates being released it fair to say that the update will leave behind a lot of files taking up un-necessary disk space. Although free space might not be a problem on the larger SAS/SATA disks, it does become a problem for the smaller capacity SSD disks.
The latest windows 10 version is 1703.
1. Right Click your C: drive and go to Properties > From the General TAB click the Disk Cleanup button to launch the utility.
2. When then scan completes, you’ll end up on the page where you can select different options.
3. Click the Clean Up System Files button, to get detailed selection options.
4. Select the tickbox next to Previous Windows Installation(s) and click OK
5. Accept the warning and click Yes to proceed.
6. Finish
